How We Work • New Technologies

New Technologies Computer technology and craft do not need to contradict each other. New constructive possibilities can be developed thanks to computer-aided milling machines, creating new opportunities for traditional furniture manufacturers. With CNC milling machines extremely precise drilling and undercutting become possible as the milling head can move freely around the work piece. Many of the plug-in joints that are so characteristic for our products could not be realised – or only at prohibitive cost – without those new technologies.

We are also looking for alternative constructive solutions. For PROFILE TABLE, for example, we developed the cross frame: the table legs are connected directly to a cross-shaped frame which supports the table top. This allows for maximum legroom and makes it very easy to assemble the table.

This combination of high-tech processing and traditional woodworking techniques is characteristic for our furniture
